Actions against hunger

The pandemic deepened inequalities that already exist in our food systems and the most recent and complete research confirmed what we already feared: with rising food prices, rising unemployment and the end of emergency aid, more than half of the Brazilian population is in a situation of food insecurity.

In this second wave of the pandemic, there was a significant drop in donations to entities that act in the direct fight against hunger through the delivery of basic food baskets. The Zero Hunger Institute is committed to sharing stories of those who are at the forefront of this mobilization and asks you to help as you can: donating or sharing through your social networks.
